CTACS is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. We
endeavour to make sure that the information you give us remains private
and is only used for the purposes set out below as we want to provide
you with a safe and secure experience. We never disclose information
about your individual visits to our site or any personal information
that you may provide without your consent. The information that you give
us (including any personal information and your e-mail address) is
termed ‘personal data’ under the Data Protection Act 1998 and we
therefore follow the principles set out in that Act.
Cookies
This website does not create tracking cookies on your PC.
How we let you know if our policy changes
If we amend our policy due to legislative or business reasons, we will
post the changes on this site.
Information on this site
We make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is
up-to-date and complete. However, some of the information may be
supplied to us by third parties and so we do not accept liability
arising from any inaccuracy or omission in respect of information
supplied.
We do not accept liability for any damages howsoever arising and whether
in tort, contract or otherwise from the use of or inability to use the
site or its contents, or from any action or omission taken as a result
of using the site or its contents (including, without limitation,
damages for loss of business opportunities, consequential loss, loss of
profits), to the extent permitted by law.
We are unable to offer any guarantee that the contents of the site are
free from viruses or similar which have destructive or contaminating
properties and shall therefore have no liability in respect thereof.
Marketing communications on websites are subject to guidelines set out
by the Advertising Standards Authority. If you find anything on the site
which you consider to be erroneous or potentially misleading please
advise us so we can correct it.
Accessibility
We wish for our site to be as accessible by as many people as possible
and have therefore designed it in a suitable manner, keeping it simple
and avoiding esoteric technical features. If you have any suggestions as
to how matters can further be improved please contact us.
Payment
Our standard terms are payment upon completion of work or within 14 days
for established customers with accounts. For projects costing in excess
of £500 we require a deposit of 50% in advance. Where goods have been
supplied by CTACS, these remain the property of CTACS until full payment
has been received. Where equipment has been given to CTACS for
diagnosis, repair or refurbishment or items have been purchased for or
on behalf of a customer but the work has not been paid for within 90
days, then those items become the property of CTACS and may be disposed
of as CTACS sees fit.
Software Licensing
Where CTACS are contracted to install customer-provided software it is
on the strict understanding that the software is fully licensed and the
customer accepts total liability for said software and fully indemnifies
CTACS against any action arising in the event of licensing or copyright
issues.
General
Our terms of use are governed by and are construed in accordance with
the laws of England. Both you and CTACS submit to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts. If any provision of these terms and
conditions is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining
provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
